Kristin Torgen Flannery has a wealth of experience
in Media Relations and Branding after 15 years in the Entertainment Industry.
Most recently, Flannery served as Vice President, Partnerships & Promotions
for Universal Domestic Television where she was responsible for developing
and integrating innovative brand-building activities, licensing efforts
and establishing key partnerships with major brands and entertainment
companies. She developed programs to build brand identity, retail awareness
and profitability for Universal Television products.
Prior to Universal Domestic Television, Flannery served as Vice President,
Advertising & Promotion for Universal Worldwide Television, where her
responsibilities included all administrative and creative areas within
the company’s marketing division. Overseeing Universal Worldwide
Television’s in-house art department, Flannery art directed all print
advertising and audio/visual campaigns, supervised the company’s
participation at all domestic programming markets, and directed publicity
for all first-run television product. She coordinated the promotional
launches of all first-run television series and movie collections. Flannery
also collaborated with executive producers and production staffs regarding
promotional positioning of each show as well as product placement. |
Flannery spearheaded the promotion
and publicity, which successfully launched Blind Date, one of
television’s fastest growing syndicated strip programs.
Before joining Universal Worldwide Television Flannery was the Executive Director of
Marketing & Creative Services for Polygram Television
where she oversaw marketing and publicity efforts the company.
Prior to that, she was the Associate Director of Publicity and Promotion for Paramount
International Television where she coordinated press and promotions related
to all the Paramount shows sold to more than 33 countries.
Flannery began her television career in 1995 at Paramount Pictures Television Group
as a media relations coordinator and was then promoted to media relations
manager. Flannery was the on-lot and on-location liaison between print
and electronic media and the talent and producers of Paramount Television's
22 network and syndicated series.
Flannery graduated from Emerson College,
Boston in 1990 with a bachelor of speech in Communication Studies. |
