Julie Lennartson has been working directly with people for the past 10 years. Julie LennartsonJulie has worked in both a clinical setting and also as a community outreach specialist.

Most recently, Julie is the Executive Director for the non-profit National Alliance for Healthy Communities. Julie’s responsibilities include managing the day to day operations. This entails managing the website, the bi-monthly newsletter, financials and member relations.

Prior to being the Executive Director of a non-profit, Julie worked with a nationwide medical organization in both a marketing position and as a community outreach specialist. This included event planning, finding youth and senior organizations that were in need of assistance, working with large non-profits, putting on soccer clinics with Chivas USA and working with Chambers of Commerce.

Julie has had many years of training as a therapist. Julie has worked with clients ranging from mild to severe psychosis, with an emphasis on the severely and chronically mentally ill on Skid Row and in other shelters.

Julie chooses to work on projects that are developed to directly better the needs of the communities.

Julie graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Business. Julie also has a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.
