The Ewing Group, Inc. was created by Carolyn Peirce Ewing on March 1, 1991, to design and implement policy and funding strategies for private companies and public agencies who seek to do business with government. The Ewing Group, Inc. provides a range of professional services including general business development, project analyses, funding strategies, feasibility studies, political and market strategies and governmental relations. The company provides professional services implementing specific work involving the California Department of Transportation, Caltrans, including but not limited to assistance in programming projects, rights-of-way, permits, local assistance, relinquishment recommendations, traffic data, construction matters and grade separation projects. The Ewing Group, Inc. includes three professional staff with a combined expertise of more than 100 years of local, state, Federal government understanding with an emphasis on transportation. The company has captured over $ 500 million in Federal, State, regional, local and private industry funds for use on major infrastructure projects. Carolyn Peirce Ewing has been an elected and appointed official at various levels of government. She was appointed by Governor Deukmejian as a Deputy Director at Caltrans for eight years. She was appointed by Governor Brown, Jr., to a Regional Water Quality Control Board. She is a Phi Beta Kappa with graduate work from The George Washington, University, Washington, DC.
