CRA-LA has launched a major initiative focused on developing new policies
and programs that will guide the City of Los Angeles in managing and
regulating on-street and off-street parking in the Downtown area, effecting
commercial and residential development.
The City of Los Angeles is taking up the issue of “inclusionary zoning,” which
could place requirements on residential developers to sell a percentage
of new homes at prices below market value to lower- and middle-income families.
Los Angeles City Hall seems inclined to give Neighborhood Councils more
